Sir Anthony Hopkins meets Boxmodel Digital Media

With the latest Transformer Movie just around the corner, Newcastle saw an influx of A List Hollywood stars. One of the Managing Partners of North East born software agency, Paul Hutton had the opportunity to share breakfast with legendary actor Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Boxmodel who have offices in Newcastle, London and New Zealand have been involved with a number of software application and augmented reality projects within the film and TV industry. Unfortunately the current Transformers movie is not one of them, however it has allowed for meetings such as this.

The 78 year old Welsh born Actor was joined in Newcastle by Wahlberg where they spent several days filming scenes for the new Transformers movie. Of course, they were part of a larger crew team which consisted of some 200 members.

For months the preparation for the filming in Newcastle flew under the radar, but the arrival of such iconic stars put pay to this rapidly. The Selfie phenomena certainly took the great North East City by storm with fans grabbing every opportunity they could to get their moment recorded in digital format. Such a trend has played a big part in a new App to be launched by Boxmodel in the next few months, which replicates the traditional disposable camera through a mobile phone.

Paul Hutton said; “Sir Anthony has to be one of the nicest human beings I have ever met. He spent most of his time asking me about my children and what business was doing”
